Sue Toomey is a retired art teacher from Webster Central School District. After 36 years of teaching at both the elementary and secondary levels, her final position was at Thomas H S teaching the Ceramics, Sculpture and Crafts classes. She is enjoying the time to concentrate on her own clay production and teach classes her at FCAC. Her work is mostly focused on functional pieces that explore the juxtaposition of architectural and natural elements in her surface and glaze variations.
