Public Market
Rochester’s public market district is buzzing with energy and culture, with surprises around every corner. With this collection of photos taken during Steve Piper’s documentary photography class this past fall, I captured an eclectic mix of the people and surroundings that make the area so vibrant and unique. This place is truly a gem. If you so wish, you can let your imagination take you away to another city in a far off land. Like scenes from a film frozen in time, every person passing by is a character playing their part in the movie of life.
Bio
Kristy Bianchi, AKA Black Diamond Creative, is a freelance graphic designer and award winning photographer living in Rochester NY.
Her life long passion for art, evolved into a career as a graphic designer. In 2016 she picked up a DSLR, falling head over heels in love with photography. It didn’t take for her long to realize it was her passion and calling in life. With great enjoyment, she now combines the two for a harmonious blend of creativity.
The intense creative energy that lies within, results in work that is strong and elegant. With a keen eye, she captures the emotion and beauty often overlooked in every day life.
She was a chosen winner of the 2017 Communication Arts Photography Annual Competition. Her photo titled “Benny” will be published in the July/August 2017 photography annual.
